Sabrina Beasley McDonald is a Christian author and speaker. She is the author of Open the Windows of Heaven, a women’s devotional, and The Blessings of Loneliness, encouragement for young single women. She is also a contributing author for Daily Wisdom for Women 2016 and 2017. Sabrina is a former senior writer and web editor for FamilyLife, a marriage and family ministry of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ), working mainly with FamiyLife's online magazine The Family Room and weekly newsletter Help and Hope.
Sabrina became a stay-at-home mom and freelance writer in 2008 when her first child was born. In 2010, her first husband was killed in a car accident, leaving her a single mom of two young children. In July 2013, she married Robbie McDonald, also widowed, and gained two stepsons and a daughter-in-law, as well.
Sabrina's work has appeared in numerous publications, including Growthtrac.com, World Wide Challenge magazine; Just Between Us; Christian Women Today online magazine; Australian Christian Woman; Magazinet, a Christian magazine of Oslo, Norway; and Hebrew Beynenu, a Christian magazine distributed through Israel and Egypt. She has been a regular contributor to women's ministry blogs and continues to freelance for FamilyLife.
In addition to her writing capabilities, Sabrina McDonald is an experienced speaker and teacher. Radio appearances include three guest appearances on “FamilyLife Today,” “Reality at Home,” “Morning Praise” with Kyle Kirkman on WAFG 90.3 FM in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; the morning show on Life 101.9 KNWS with Brent Manion in Waterloo, Iowa; and “JP Morgan in the Morning” on Positive Hit Radio the Current.
